Who can join? Why join?

Anyone can join! It is a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals to come together, play games and form everlasting friendships!

How did you get involved?

When I first came to OSU, I wanted to find my community of queer folk since I did not have that in my K-12 experience. I went to the Oregon State University Pride Center on my first day, and they told me that I could get more involved in the community through Rainbow Continuum.

What is your best memory?

The best memory I have with Rainbow Continuum as a leader has been planning the drag shows as well as Pride Week. It always made be happy to see other people in the community having a great time at our events.

What is the community like?

My experience with Rainbow Continuum has been extensive, with being a loyal member my freshman year, as well as being co-director for Rainbow Continuum my sophomore and junior years, and I hope to continue being an adviser for Rainbow Continuum this next year.

When did you first feel a sense of belonging on campus?

Being part of Rainbow Continuum was the determining factor of me feeling like I had a space at the university. I would probably feel like an outcast if I did not find my community within Rainbow Continuum.

How have you grown from being involved?

I have definitely grown as an individual being involved with the leadership aspect of Rainbow Continuum through leading meetings and organizing and putting on events.
